Hosting and delivery

The website is published through OpenAI Sites and delivered using Cloudflare infrastructure, including media storage. Serving pages and films requires processing connection information such as IP address, requested URL, browser information and request time. Hosting providers may process security and operational logs under their service terms and privacy notices. We use this processing to deliver the service, investigate faults and protect it from abuse, relying on our legitimate interests in operating a secure website.

We do not operate a visitor-profile database or sell visitor information. Cloudflare may set security cookies, including __cf_bm, to detect automated traffic and protect delivery. Cloudflare states that this cookie expires after 30 minutes of continuous inactivity. Security cookies are separate from optional audience analytics and are not disabled by our analytics preference. Browser storage and your choices

The website uses local storage for features you choose: atlas-mitten-saved, meya-saved-the-cat-and-the-rooster store your saved-film choices; atlas-subtitle stores the subtitle language; and meya-audio-* stores the audio choice for each website language. These preferences are read on your device and are not sent to a Meya Tales account. They remain until you clear them or your browser removes site data. The analytics opt-out uses meya-analytics-disabled.

We do not set advertising cookies. These local preferences do not follow you across browsers or devices. You can clear viewing preferences below or remove all site data using your browser settings.

Audience and performance analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page views, visits, referral sources and page performance, including loading time and layout stability. Cloudflare describes this service as using no cookies, local-storage identifiers or browser fingerprinting to identify visitors. We use aggregate reports to improve the website, relying on our legitimate interests in understanding service usage and reliability.

You can disable our analytics script on this browser above. We also skip it when the browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, or when the preference cannot be read. This choice does not disable hosting or security processing needed to deliver the website. Avoid putting private information into page URLs: requested pages and referral information may appear in analytics or service logs.

If you email us

When you contact us, we receive your email address, message and any information you choose to include. We use it to answer your request, manage permissions and address rights or privacy concerns. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding and managing the service, steps requested before a licensing agreement where applicable, and legal obligations where required. Email is handled through Google’s Gmail service. Please do not send identity documents or unnecessary sensitive information.

Retention, recipients and international processing

Viewing preferences stay on your device until cleared. Correspondence is kept for as long as needed to resolve the request and maintain necessary records. Licensing, permission and dispute records may need to be retained for the duration of the relevant rights or applicable legal limitation periods. Hosting and analytics providers determine the retention of their service data under their terms; we do not promise a shorter provider retention period that we cannot control.

OpenAI, Cloudflare and Google may process service information outside Portugal and the European Economic Area. Their applicable privacy notices explain processing locations and transfer safeguards, such as adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses where applicable. We share correspondence only where necessary to handle the request, obtain professional advice or comply with law.

Your rights

Depending on the processing and applicable law, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us at the address above; explain the request without sending identity documents unless reasonably needed later. We do not use your information for automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects. You may also lodge a complaint with Portugal’s supervisory authority, the CNPD, or another competent authority.

Families and external links

The films can be enjoyed by families. We do not ask children to submit personal information or create profiles. A parent or guardian can contact us about information a child may have sent by email. External websites have their own privacy practices.
